About the Naval Architect
Design and Process
Driven by a passion for ships, a strong technical foundation, and a love for design, I founded scheepsplan.nl—a service dedicated to creating tailored ship plans and technical drawings. I offer remote design support, providing general arrangement plans and custom layouts based on the specific needs of each vessel.
With a solid background in retrofit projects—ranging from exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS) and ballast water treatment (BWTS) to onboard CO₂ capture systems—I combine precision, efficiency, and reliability across every project phase.
After completing my degree in Maritime Engineering, I set out to apply my technical knowledge in practical, hands-on environments and complemented this with a Master in technology management. My combined engineering and management skills allow me to bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic planning, providing clients with a comprehensive, results-driven approach.
